Winter Golfing Adventure in the Highlands

Planning a winter golfing adventure or golfing escape to the Highlands of Scotland? We’re ready and waiting for your call!

Let us transport you in stylish comfort from any Scottish airport or train station to Carnoustie, St Andrews, Gleneagles or wherever your golfing destination may be. Our luxury 8-seater Mercedes tourer has ample space for your party and all your equipment. We’ll even provide you with on-board Wi-Fi so you can check your golf course conditions en-route.

But before you tee off, here’s some light-hearted advice. Forget water hazards; here in the Highlands, we have snowcapped bunkers. It’s like playing in a winter wonderland. You’ll be forever on a quest for that elusive white orb buried in a snowdrift, so, remember to pack your multi-coloured golf balls. There’s a rumour that highland golf courses employ Yeti caddies for the winter season! Of course, we can’t confirm, but whoever you choose as your caddy ….. at the end of your round, be sure to buy them a steaming hot chocolate laced with a dram or two of fine whisky when you reach the 19th.

To keep warm during the winter tee-off, highlanders have developed a special dance called the Frosty Two-Step. It involves tapping your feet from one to the other, clapping your hands together and busting out in snowman-inspired twirls. Bonus points for creativity and extra points for not falling over while you take a swing!

Winter golfing in the Highlands calls for a sense of humour. Imagine – you’ve booked your round, packed up all your gear and arrived at the course only to find its snowbound!  Well, if this happens, there’s nothing else for it – gather your golf chums and call Ken who’ll arrange a visit to the nearest whisky distillery to enjoy a dram or two by a roaring fireplace to warm the cockles of your heart.
